RE:       New ASSIST Public Website

We are very pleased to announce that the new ASSIST public website will be released on May 31, 2019 with the same familiar URL: www.assist.org. At that time, the new website will display transferability lists up through the 2019-20 academic year; articulation information for the most recent academic years will be made available as soon as possible after the public release. For more details about the upcoming public launch, please visit the new ASSIST public website FAQ page that’s available on the ASSIST Resource Center website.

Taking on such a complex technology project to build a new system and meet the various needs of all three public higher education segments was certainly no easy feat. We have many to recognize and thank for their contributions toward this endeavor:

  • Articulation officers and 50+ system testers, for their steadfast work in building articulation agreements and engaging in test case scenarios to help prepare the new ASSIST for public launch;

  • Fairway Technologies, for their technical team of expert developers and project managers who dived into this multi-year project mid-stream and partnered with us to deliver on a new system with core functionality that will continue to expand with enhancements post-launch;

  • ASSIST Technical Advisory Committee, for lending their information systems technical expertise to inform decisions on ASSIST technology strategy and related data issues;

  • ASSIST Executive Management & Oversight Committee, for providing managerial, operational, and fiduciary oversight for ASSIST, especially during the transition of technical vendors; and

  • ASSIST Team lead, Holly Demé, and her staff – Lindsey Caputo, Brian Hoogerbrugge, Ryan Novero, Liz Sanchez – for their comprehensive content knowledge, unwavering commitment to intersegmental customer service, and forward-thinking approach to the overall ASSIST project.

The collective efforts from so many stakeholders have brought us to this point and includes those who were previously engaged in the ASSIST project but are no longer directly connected with ASSIST today. The support from all who have played a role during the long journey is deeply appreciated.

We very much look forward to the next phases of ASSIST development, enhancements, and expansion of services that will further facilitate the student transfer process from California community colleges to the CSU and UC.
