6 June 2025-2026 Academic Year is now LIVE on assist.org! June 6, 2025By ASSIST SAA Development News, General development, news, updates 0 Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to share that, following a successful system update last night, the 2025-2026 Academic Year is now LIVE on assist.org, accompanied by the milestone of releasing all public-facing Cal-GETC updates and the first visibility into Common Course Numbers in ASSIST. 2025-2026 Academic Year The 2025-2026 AY is now available for searching Transferable Course Lists and Articulation Agreements. Important Notes: Articulation Agreement Availability The availability of new articulation agreements historically begins the summer before the academic year and varies by institution. Each university is responsible for updating and publishing agreements. Many factors may affect the process, including the availability of updated community college curriculum, campus articulation resources, and approach to publishing. Historically, the majority of agreements are published between August and December; we do not anticipate large quantities of 2025-2026 agreements to be published at this time. If you have questions related to articulation agreement availability or specific information contained in an articulation agreement, please contact the college or university directly. Transferable Course List Availability The general education and transferable course lists are updated based on the most recent review cycle, which is completed at varying dates each academic year. The list of approved Cal-GETC courses is dynamic and will continue to be updated into the summer until the current review cycle is completed. The UC Transfer Course Agreement (UC TCA) and UC Transfer Admission Eligibility Course Lists will become available at the end of October upon completion of the UCOP summer review and October appeal cycle. Cal-GETC Transferable Course List In collaboration with the program’s software development vendor, Accenture, ASSIST has been progressing through system development updates to support the integration of Cal-GETC since early 2023. All systems and services have undergone required technology updates to accommodate this legislative mandate (AB-928) and have been completed ahead of CCC course submission and review deadlines, in partnership with system offices, campus data managers, and numerous additional groups committed to student transfer. The finale of this work concludes with a brand-new Cal-GETC Transferable Course list! While the system offices continue to review appeals and finalize decisions, to date, ~24,000 CCC courses have received Cal-GETC approvals. Common Course Numbers With the 2025-2026 AY now available, CCC courses, updated as early as Fall 2025, to align with the Common Course Numbers (CCN, AB-1111) taxonomy, will begin to display in transferable course lists and articulation agreements, where published. To date, ~1000 CCC courses have been updated to align with the CCN in ASSIST. ASSIST Program Resources An ASSIST FAQ page is available on the ASSIST Resource Center.
