What is AICCU?
The Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU) is comprised of over 80 independent, nonprofit colleges and universities. All institutions are nonprofit, WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) accredited, degree-granting, with a main campus located in California.
Incorporating AICCUs on assist.org
Beginning with the academic year 2024-2025, a subset of AICCU institutions (Cohort 1) began displaying articulation agreements on assist.org. AICCU Participating Member Institutions (PMIs) opt-in to using ASSIST and participation is optional. Articulation agreements with Cohort 2 PMIs will be available beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year.
Planning is underway to prepare to onboard the next set of AICCU institutions (Cohort 3) to ASSIST (Winter 2026).

Many factors may affect the process, including the availability of updated community college curriculum, campus articulation resources, and approach to publishing.
